Our Instructor

Cheryl Lehman, the founder and instructor of Cheryl's Guitar Instruction, has over thirty years of experience in classical guitar and other guitar styles. She has performed in various ensembles and has been teaching for over 25 years. With a Bachelor of Music in Performance Guitar from Arizona State University, Cheryl has studied under the tutelage of renowned professors, including Professor Frank Koonce. She is a member of the Guitar Foundation of America, American String Teachers Association, and the Music Teachers National Association.

Our Services

At Cheryl's Guitar Instruction, we offer private guitar lessons tailored to each student's unique needs and goals. Our lessons are based on weekly one-half hour sessions, and our monthly fees are dependent on the number of weeks in that month. We accept most credit/debit cards, as well as cash and check payments.

In addition to individual lessons, we provide books, sheet music, and supplies to our students. We believe that learning to play the guitar is not just about mastering technical skills, but also about developing musicality, creativity, and a love for the instrument.
