Learnquest Academy Of Music

LearnQuest Academy of Music is a non-profit educational institution that has been serving the greater Boston community since 1994. Our mission is to create a supportive and nurturing environment for high-quality music instruction for children and adults, contributing to the development of the whole self and adding an aesthetic dimension that is uplifting and fulfilling. We seek to expose our students and the community to the highest levels of musicianship and scholarship through professional music performances, lectures, and publications. We also support and encourage music scholarship, research, and the development of instructional materials and technology to facilitate quality music education. We are committed to highlighting the multicultural aspect of music by bringing together the practitioners of diverse music persuasions, contributing to social harmony through music.

School of Music

Our School of Music provides music instruction to children and adults at various locations in the Boston area and through VOIP. We offer classes in Indian classical music, including vocal and instrumental music, as well as music theory and composition. Our faculty is comprised of highly qualified and experienced musicians who are dedicated to providing the best possible instruction to our students.

Annual Music Conference

Our Annual Music Conference is an annual multi-day festival of Indian classical music at venues throughout the greater Boston area since 2006. The conference features performances by renowned musicians from around the world, as well as workshops, lecture demonstrations, and seminars on various aspects of Indian classical music. The conference provides a platform for young and upcoming musicians to showcase their talent and learn from the masters.

Baithak Concerts

LearnQuest brings "Baithak"-style concerts, conducted in an intimate setting where the artists and audience interact and inspire each other. These concerts provide a unique opportunity to experience Indian classical music in its purest form and to connect with the artists on a personal level.

Workshops

We offer workshops on vocal and instrumental music, providing a platform for students to learn and engage with renowned musicians. These workshops offer students an opportunity to learn in a more focused and interactive setting and to receive feedback and guidance from the masters.

Lecture Demonstrations and Seminars

Our lecture demonstrations and seminars provide an opportunity for students and the community to learn about various aspects of Indian classical music, including its history, theory, and practice. These events are designed to provide a deeper understanding of the art form and to inspire a deeper appreciation of the music.

Performance Forums

We provide performance forums for participation by local-area students and teachers of music. These forums provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and receive feedback and guidance from experienced musicians.
