At Kindermusik with Kathy & Friends, we believe that music has the power to bring joy, comfort, and community to young children, parents, and caregivers. Our mission is to provide a unique and engaging musical experience that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.

Our Classes

We offer a range of classes designed for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids, catering to children from 4 months to 10 years old. Each class is carefully designed to meet the unique needs and abilities of each age group. Our classes foster a sense of community and provide a nurturing environment for children to explore, learn, and have fun.

Music and Movement Classes

Our music and movement classes are designed to stimulate young children's senses and encourage creative expression. In these classes, children engage in singing, dancing, moving, and playing instruments, all while developing their cognitive, emotional, and social skills.

Instrumental Play Classes

For our older children, we offer instrumental play classes that introduce them to a variety of instruments, including keyboards, drums, and more. These classes help build their confidence, curiosity, and creativity while laying the foundation for lifelong musical exploration.

Summer Camps

Our dynamic summer camps offer a fun-filled experience for children aged 4 to 10 years. Our camps combine music, art, and movement, providing an environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and socialization.

Birthday Parties

We also offer customizable birthday party packages that include music, songs, instruments, and engaging games, providing a unique and memorable experience for your child and their friends.

Our History

Our story began in the 1960s when musician and educator, Dan Pratt, discovered a successful music program in Germany that empowered young children to express themselves creatively. He saw the impact this program had on families and knew he had to share it with the world. In 1978, he introduced the first Kindermusik class, marking the beginning of a movement that would go on to touch the lives of millions of children worldwide.

Our Location

We have two locations in Santa Barbara and Carpinteria, providing a convenient and welcoming environment for families in the area to participate in our programs.
