At the Salisbury School of Music, we believe that learning music should be an enriching and joyful experience for every student. Our esteemed faculty comprises professional musicians and experienced music teachers, many holding advanced degrees in music. They are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with aspiring musicians of all ages and levels. We cultivate a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their musical potential. In addition to our seasoned instructors, we champion aspiring music educators by providing opportunities for student teachers to gain valuable experience working with beginning students. This fosters a collaborative and enriching learning atmosphere for both teachers and students.

Tailored Lessons

We recognize that every student is unique, with distinct learning styles and musical aspirations. To ensure a personalized and effective learning experience, our founder and artistic director, Marc Hoffman, conducts a comprehensive interview with each new student (or their parent) during registration. This insightful conversation allows Marc to understand the student's age, learning preferences, musical goals, and prior musical experiences. This personalized approach enables us to carefully match students with instructors who best align with their individual needs and aspirations.

Located in the vibrant heart of downtown Salisbury on the second floor of the historic Meroney Theater, our school offers a unique and inviting atmosphere. Our casual, studio setting fosters a sense of community and encourages students to feel comfortable and relaxed.
