About Us

Established in 2001, Encore Studio of Dance, Tumbling, Music, and Theatre is a recreational performing arts school in the Greater New Orleans area. Our studio is committed to providing a supportive and positive environment for students of all ages and abilities. We believe that learning should be a fun and enriching experience, and our expert instructors strive to bring out the best in every student.

Our Philosophy

At Encore Studio, we eschew competition and focus on education, skills, and performance. We believe that each student should have the opportunity to grow and learn at their own pace, while building confidence and making new friends. Our instructors are dedicated to helping students foster a lifelong love of the performing arts.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of classes and services for students of all ages and abilities. Our classes include:

• Dance Classes: Our dance classes include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and more. We offer classes for students of all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced.

• Tumbling Classes: Our tumbling classes are designed for students who have a lot of energy and want to get moving! Our tumbling classes focus on teaching students the fundamentals of tumbling, including cartwheels, handstands, and more.

• Musical Theatre Classes: Our musical theatre classes combine singing, acting, and dancing to bring out the best in our students. Our instructors are experienced in musical theatre and are dedicated to helping students develop their skills.

• Piano and Voice Lessons: Our piano and voice lessons are taught by university-trained instructors who are passionate about sharing their expertise with students.

Our Facilities

Our studio features two spacious studios for music and two for dance, complete with floating dance floors that reduce fatigue and help prevent injuries. We also have a large, comfortable waiting/reception room with desk staff and large TVs to watch video feeds of classes.

Our instructors are fully qualified and passionate about sharing their expertise with students. They are dedicated to helping students of all ages and abilities develop their skills and confidence.

Our Summer Camps

Our summer camps offer a fun and educational on-stage experience for students to learn, grow, and make new friends. Our camps are designed to be both fun and educational, and are perfect for students of all ages and abilities.
