Winchester Community Music

At WCMS, we are more than just a music school. We are a vibrant regional hub for world-class music education and programming. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive music education that develops strong musical competencies and cultivates life skills such as mindfulness, confidence, persistence, and achievement. We serve students of all ages, interests, and skill levels, offering a wide range of services including private lessons, group classes, ensembles, and music therapy.

Our Services

Our private lessons provide one-on-one guidance for musicians of all ages. We offer Suzuki programs for violin and piano, as well as group classes for early childhood music and movement, first steps in music, and musical beginnings. For those looking to explore different instruments, we have group classes for guitar, ukulele, percussion, and more. Ensembles include chamber music, jazz, rock bands, and music therapy groups for people with Parkinson's. Additionally, we offer summer programs, festivals, and ensembles for ages 6 to adult.

We also offer opportunities for volunteering and donating to support our mission.
