About Bill Dykes

At the heart of Guitararama is Bill Dykes, a seasoned musician with a passion for various genres including rock and roll, blues, country, bluegrass, folk, old time, gospel, and classical music. Bill is not just a talented guitarist but also an accomplished mandolin, banjo, electric bass, string bass, drums, and spoons player. With over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Bill has established himself as a versatile event master who can handle any event, from intimate living room concerts to large-scale weddings and funerals.

• Hire the Band: Choose from a single performer, duo, or a full herd of musicians to create the perfect ensemble for your event. Our musicians are skilled in various instruments including guitar, mandolin, banjo, keyboard, bass, drums, and spoons.
• Live Sound: We offer state-of-the-art live sound services, complete with a 24-channel mixing board, engineer, main and monitor speaker cabinets, power amps, compressors, EQs, and effects. We also provide a variety of microphones from renowned brands such as Shure, Sennheiser, and AKG.
• Live Recording: Capture the magic of your event with our live recording services. We use a 24-track digital recording setup with a dual Xeon quad processor computer, patch bays, effects, and all necessary cables.
• Video Production: Enhance your event with our high-definition video production services. We offer a 2 or 3 HD camera setup, video editing software, and access to a master home location with a million-dollar view. We can also travel to your preferred location, although we prefer not to fly.

CDs and Audio

Bill Dykes has released two CDs that showcase his musical prowess. "Retrospective" is a collection of some of his compositions as well as covers of popular songs. "PcN Onna Classics" features his composition "Duet in Memory of the Gettysburg Address, " a work for classical and electric guitar. You can listen to audio clips from these CDs on our website.
