At Rosazza Lesson Studios, we are dedicated to providing the best music education to students of all ages and abilities. We offer private lessons in piano, guitar, bass, woodwinds, accordion, ukulele, voice, and percussion.

Our music studio, located in Iowa City, Iowa, has been a trusted destination for aspiring musicians for over two decades. Our dedicated team of teachers, led by founder Dave Rosazza, have years of experience in teaching and performing music. We understand that every student is unique and tailor each lesson to meet their individual needs and goals.

That's why we offer flexible scheduling, including weekday mornings and early afternoons, to accommodate students with non-school schedules. Our Services

We offer a wide range of music lessons, including:

Our Teachers

Our team of dedicated teachers are passionate about music and committed to helping students achieve their musical goals. They bring years of teaching and performing experience to our lesson program.

• Dave Rosazza: Dave is the founder of Rosazza Lesson Studios and has been teaching guitar, piano, and bass for over twenty years. He has performed with various bands and shared the stage with notable musicians.

• Nate Basinger: Nate is an accomplished keyboard player and educator who teaches piano, accordion, and harmonica. He has performed with bands such as Diplomats of Solid Sound and The Swampland Jewels.

• Saul Lubaroff: Saul teaches woodwinds, including saxophone, flute, and clarinet. He brings years of experience in teaching and performance to our lesson program.

• Matt Bernemann: Matt is an experienced percussion teacher who teaches all styles of percussion. He is dedicated to helping students develop their drumming skills.

Upcoming Events

We are excited to announce our upcoming summer recital, which will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, at the Iowa City Public Library. Check with your teacher about specific times. We look forward to another great performance!

Online Lessons

We offer lessons by video chat and in person. This is to ensure safety and for the convenience of all of our students, families, and teachers. Please talk with your individual instructor to set it up. You have the option to switch back and forth. We offer the flexibility to do what works best for you.
