At The Music Workshop, our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals of all ages and skill levels can thrive in their musical journey. Our experienced and talented instructors are dedicated to helping our students, songwriters, and recording clients not only achieve their goals, but surpass them. We understand that each student is unique, and our personalized lesson plans incorporate music theory, ear training, and performance techniques tailored to their specific goals, favorite artists, challenges, and interests.

Our roster of instructors includes some of the most educated and talented musicians regionally and nationally who have taught thousands of students over the years. Our instructors are highly-qualified teachers who provide an effective, supportive learning environment and continue to perform professionally throughout Maryland.
Lesson Programs
We offer a wide range of lessons, including piano, voice, guitar, drum, string, brass, and woodwind lessons. Our experienced instructors will work with you to create a personalized lesson plan that meets your unique needs and goals.
Tuition and Policies
We offer flexible payment options and a convenient payment schedule. Our tuition rates are competitive and affordable, with private lesson rates starting at $154/month for weekly 30-minute private lessons. We accept credit or debit card payments only and offer secure online payment options.
Studio Policies
At The Music Workshop, we understand that unexpected events may occur, and we are committed to working with you to find a solution. Our student termination policy requires a 4-week notice to terminate lessons, and our canceled or missed lesson policy allows for make-up lessons or credits in certain circumstances.
