Manning Music

Manning Music has been a staple in the Topeka area for over 35 years, providing a wide range of musical instruments, accessories, and services to the community. Founded by Clifford and Rebecca Manning in 1986, the store has undergone significant growth and expansion under the leadership of Todd and Deb Manning, who took over in 1996.

Our History

The story of Manning Music began in 1956 when Lynn and Jane Marquart purchased Green's Music from the Greens, which had been located on the second floor of a building on Kansas Avenue. Over the years, the store relocated several times, settling in Brookwood Shopping Center. In 1986, Clifford and Rebecca Manning acquired the store from the Marquarts and expanded the business, introducing new instrument lines and a full-service repair shop.

At Manning Music, we take pride in offering a diverse range of instruments and services to cater to the needs of our customers. From wind and brass instruments to guitars and keyboards, we stock a wide variety of products for both sale and rent. Our full-service repair shop is equipped to handle any maintenance or repair needs for your instrument.

Locations and Hours

We operate two convenient locations in Topeka and Manhattan, Kansas. Our Topeka location is located at 3400 SW 6th Ave, and our Manhattan location is situated at 314 Tuttle Creek Blvd. Both locations are open Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm, Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and are closed on Sundays.
