About Yanfu Tong

Yanfu Tong's journey in the world of violin-making began at the tender age of 13 when he crafted his first Yang-qin, a Chinese dulcimer. His passion for music and craftsmanship led him to work at the Dong Hua Men Violin Shop in China for 13 years. However, his curiosity and thirst for knowledge about Western instruments, particularly the violin, inspired him to move to the United States to attend the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City.

Since then, Yanfu Tong has established a reputation for excellence in the field of violin-making. His association with the Violin Making School of America has been instrumental in building a robust network of clients and fellow luthiers.
