Welcome to Fitzgerald Guitars, where we are home to world-class guitars and basses. Our founder, Larry Fitzgerald, has spent the last 35 years honing his skills in the art of guitar building. With a tremendous amount of experience gained from some of the greatest guitar shops in the world, Larry has built instruments under the Fitzgerald brand for many famous and not-so-famous musicians. At Fitzgerald Guitars, each instrument that is built is a culmination of years of repair and restoration experience, offering the very best blend of classic design and modern refinement.

About Larry Fitzgerald

Larry Fitzgerald's journey began at the National Guitar Summer Workshop, where he studied guitar building and repairs and restorations. He then worked at DiMarzio, building pickups and gaining an acute understanding of the sonic value of electronics and guitar sounds. At Mandolin Brothers, he learned of the nuance and craftsmanship that made instruments like a D'Angelico or a pre-war Martin, Classic Gibson, Fenders Guitars so very special. Larry then worked for Rudy Pensa at the famed Rudy's Music in NYC, where he worked for some of the World's best players like Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Peter Frampton and James Taylor.
