Classical Singing Program
Our Classical Singing Program offers rigorous, six-month to six-year training using the IVA system and Bel Canto principles. Students master vocal balance, breath support, and repertoire spanning Italian arias to modern compositions. Ideal for college-bound singers or professionals seeking technical refinement, the program includes weekly one-hour lessons focusing on scales, arpeggi, and vocalises. Graduates perform in major opera houses worldwide, equipped with healthy technique and musical versatility.
Musical Theater Program
This 2-4 year program prepares musical theater performers with technique-first training via the IVA method. Students build audition books, refine song interpretation, and develop legit-to-belt vocal flexibility. Weekly lessons include repertoire coaching and college audition prep. Alumni appear on Broadway and in national tours, crediting the program for enhanced vocal stamina and artistic confidence.
Scales and Etudes Program
A six-month to one-year course focusing on traditional Bel Canto scales and vocalises to improve flexibility and precision. Using Marchesi and Concone exercises, singers enhance articulation, dynamics, and legato phrasing. Weekly lessons emphasize applying technical balance to musical building blocks, benefiting touring artists and those seeking vocal agility across genres.
Ear Training & Sight Singing
This six-month to two-year program develops musicianship through solfge, sight singing, and theory drills. Students learn to read music accurately, internalize pitch, and apply skills to performance. Weekly lessons integrate IVA technique with progressive exercises, preparing singers for collegiate and professional demands requiring strong aural and reading abilities.
Online Voice Lessons
Worldwide access to Guy Babusek's expertise via Skype. Structured programs mirror in-person training, covering technique, repertoire, and performance prep. Ideal for international students or those preferring remote learning, sessions maintain the same rigorous standards and personalized feedback as studio lessons.

Questions
How can I apply vocal technique to songs effectively?
Bring challenging songs to lessons for guided adjustments, focusing on vowel modifications and relaxing facial tension to maintain technique.
Can I sing with a cold?
Avoid singing if possible; use steam therapy and hydration. Consult an ENT for severe cases before performing.
How does coffee affect my singing voice?
Caffeine dehydrates vocal folds, reducing vocal quality. Avoid it before performances to maintain optimal vocal health.
Will voice lessons make me sound like an opera singer?
No. Our technique adapts to your style, building vocal strength without forcing an operatic sound unless desired.
How long until I see vocal improvement?
Progress varies, but consistent practice and weekly lessons typically yield noticeable results within months.
