Wasatch Music Coaching Academy

Welcome to Wasatch Music Coaching Academy, a place where music lovers of all ages can find their musical path. We offer private music instruction for most band and orchestra instruments, as well as vocals, and special sessions focused on improvisation, composition, arranging, production, and theory. We are known for our bands, where students with complementary skills and experience come together for collaborative practice and performance.

Our programs aim to provide students with real-world experience, and we find that they do best when they have a show on the horizon. Throughout the year, we offer several performance opportunities, including recitals, bands, summer jam camps, and music revues. These events allow our students to showcase their talents, gain confidence, and enjoy the thrill of performing in front of an audience.

We offer a variety of programs and pricing options to cater to different needs and budgets. Our current programs include:

1. Ensemble + Private Lessons: This package includes four one-hour band rehearsals per month and four thirty-minute private lessons per month at a cost of $225 per month.

2. Ensemble Only: This option offers four one-hour band sessions per month at a cost of $80 per month.

3. Private Lessons Only: This package includes four thirty-minute private lessons per month at a cost of $170 per month.

4. Group Lessons: We offer group lessons for two or three students, with four thirty-minute group lessons per month. The cost for group lessons of two students is $100 each per month, and for group lessons of three students, it's $75 each per month.

All private and group lessons include one yearly recital opportunity with the WMCA Faculty Ensemble, as well as free and reduced-price admittance to special clinics, master classes, and music camps offered in the future.

In addition to our services, we have been asked to function as a testing center and satellite center for music education associated with the EA Park City and the EA School of Music. You can even earn high school credit! For more information on that, click the banner below.

Our Teachers

Our current team of teachers boasts over 600 cumulative years of professional performance experience. They are dedicated, passionate, and skilled musicians who are eager to share their knowledge and love for music with their students. They have a wide range of musical backgrounds and expertise, allowing them to cater to students' individual needs and interests.
