The Music Academy

The Music Academy, a not-for-profit community school of music, has been inspiring and motivating young people with high-quality music instruction since its founding in 1985. With a rich history spanning over three decades, our school has successfully motivated and inspired more than 35,000 young people.

Our Philosophy

At The Music Academy, we believe that music is an art form that has the power to transform individuals and communities. We believe that excellent instruction in the arts is a vital factor in the welfare of all people. Our mission is to inspire in students a life-long love of music and the arts. We strive to provide an environment where students can grow and thrive, developing skills that extend beyond the confines of music education.

Faculty and Programs

Our highly skilled artist-faculty members provide multi-level, articulated curriculum to youth of all ages, from newborns to adults, in a variety of instruments and disciplines. Our programs include:

• Early Childhood Classes: Comprehensive music classes for newborns to 4-year-olds, designed to foster young children's auditory and motor skills.
• Suzuki Instruction: A specialized approach to music education focusing on violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, piano, saxophone, clarinet, and flute.
• Traditional Instruction: Private and group lessons in various instruments, tailored to students' interests and abilities.
• Lessons for Adults: Private lessons and small ensemble opportunities for adult learners.
• Summer Chamber Music Camp: An immersive summer program for musicians of all ages and skill levels.
