We have over twenty-two years of experience providing private piano and voice lessons to students of all ages. Our founder, Christel Meyer, holds a degree in Music Education with a major in voice and a minor in piano. We teach students ranging from five years old to adult, tailoring each lesson to individual goals and skill levels. Our studio features an upright grand piano and vaulted ceilings that create an open, comfortable atmosphere for learning. We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac home studio in Shoreview, Minnesota, offering a convenient and distractionfree environment. We utilize the Faber and Faber Adventures in Music series for piano instruction and the Adventures in Singing series for voice training.
We encourage students to bring in their own music selections, ensuring lessons remain relevant and motivating. Our teaching background includes two years of publicschool music education and extensive privatelesson work with South of the River Music, Hosanna! Academy, and Good Guy Music. We have performed with the Minnesota Chorale and various church choirs, bringing realworld performance insight to every lesson. For the past four years we have directed a choir program at San Miguel Middle School, demonstrating our ability to develop group vocal skills. We are committed to maintaining high professional standards, clear communication, and measurable progress for every student.

Piano Lessons
Our piano lessons teach students to read music while developing rhythm, chord recognition, note names, dynamics, and articulation. We use the Faber and Faber Adventures in Music series to integrate sight reading, ear training, and progressive repertoire for all ages. As students advance, we help them select enjoyable pieces at their level, reinforcing consistent practice to achieve measurable improvement.
Voice Lessons
Our voice lessons begin with posture, breathing, warm-ups, and range assessment to build a healthy vocal foundation. We use the Adventures in Singing folk song series and incorporate student-chosen music to address articulation, phonation, tone, breathing, volume, and range. Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether developing vocal technique alone or preparing songs for contests, auditions, or personal enjoyment.
