At Schmitt Music, we are proud to be a family-owned business that has been dedicated to providing the best musical instruments and services for over 125 years. Our journey began in 1897 when our founder, Paul August Schmitt, opened the first Schmitt Music store in Virginia, Minnesota. Today, we operate five stores in Minnesota and four stores in other states, employing around 200 people, many of whom are professional musicians.
