The Arts Center School Of Music & Dance

At The Arts Center School of Music and Dance, we believe in nurturing creativity and inspiring young minds. Founded in 2008 by Jill and Marty Garlock, our studio has grown to become a cornerstone of West Central Ohio's arts community. We offer a wide range of programs designed to foster a love for the arts, providing students with the opportunity to explore their talents and achieve their full potential.

Our highly qualified instructors are passionate about teaching and truly invested in the success of each student. We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized attention and maximize learning opportunities. From our introductory Creative Movement classes for toddlers to our rigorous pre-professional training programs, we cater to all ages and skill levels.

Our Programs

The Arts Center School of Music and Dance offers a comprehensive curriculum encompassing various disciplines: dance, music, and theater.

Our dance program is renowned for its excellence, encompassing a diverse range of styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, and more. Students can participate in recreational classes, competitive teams, or specialized workshops, all tailored to their individual aspirations and abilities.

We also boast a robust music program that provides students with opportunities to learn instrumental music, vocal performance, and music theory. Our experienced music teachers guide students through their musical journeys, helping them develop their skills, explore different genres, and build confidence.

In addition to dance and music, we offer theater classes that foster collaboration, creativity, and performance skills. Students can delve into acting, character development, stagecraft, and vocal technique, gaining valuable experience in the performing arts.
