Welcome to the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, a sanctuary of creativity and learning for young artists in Richmond, California. Our mission is to engage youth and young adults in imagining and creating new worlds for themselves and new visions for their communities through the inspiration and discipline of rigorous training in world performance traditions.

Programs and Services

The East Bay Center for the Performing Arts offers a wide range of programs and services designed to meet the needs and interests of our diverse community. Our programs include:

• Group classes: Our group classes are fun, free, and open to all students. We offer a wide selection of music, dance, and performance art classes for students of all ages and skill levels.
• Private lessons: Our private lessons provide students with one-on-one instruction with world-class instructors. We offer lessons in a variety of instruments, including piano, violin, guitar, and more.
• Ensembles: Our ensembles provide students with the opportunity to perform in a group setting and develop their skills in collaboration and teamwork. We offer ensembles in music, dance, and theater.
• Young Artist Diploma Program: Our Young Artist Diploma Program is a six-year, interdisciplinary program that provides intensive training and mentorship to a group of passionate and committed middle and high school students.
• School and neighborhood partnerships: We believe in the power of partnership and collaboration. We work closely with local schools and community organizations to provide arts education and enrichment programs.
• Facility rentals: Our state-of-the-art facility is available for rent for performances, rehearsals, and special events.
