At VoiceWorks Singing Studios, we believe that everyone has the potential to unlock their unique vocal talents. Our founders, Debra and Barry Bounous, are renowned professional performers and recording artists with extensive experience in teaching complex vocal skills. We offer a variety of voice lessons, private coaching, classes, and performance opportunities tailored to meet the needs of children, teens, and adults.

Our Classes

Our classes are designed to cater to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that each student receives personalized instruction and attention.

• Children & Youth (ages 3-14): These singing "adventures" are perfect for young learners who want to explore pitch, movement, sequencing, and musical expressiveness. Using the Suzuki method, we incorporate folk songs, singing games, and dramatic play to develop rhythm and notation skills. Our young students also participate in ensemble performances with opportunities for solo experiences as they progress.

• Adults & Teens: Our Vocal Discovery Journey series is ideal for singers aged 14 and up. This series of classes focuses on improving personal technique while providing a lower cost alternative to private lessons.

• Stage Skills: This class is designed for those who want to become confident stage singers. Whether you're performing a "belt" song or a "mix" style, we'll teach you how to project your voice and captivate your audience.

• Stage Skills Performance Class: Participants in this ongoing class can repeat and perform all year long. This class provides an enjoyable experience shared with like-minded singers who enjoy a variety of music and performances. You'll also continue to challenge and strengthen your vocal technique every week.

Debra and Barry Bounous are the founders of VoiceWorks Singing Studios. They are professional performers and recording artists who are known for their ability to teach complex vocal skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Both are members of Brigham Young University's Voice Faculty and are excited to extend their expertise to children and adults throughout the community.

The Suzuki Method
