Bellingham Music

Bellingham Music began its journey in 1983 as Harris Music, establishing itself as a premier destination for quality acoustic instruments and guitar instruction in Bellingham. After relocating to North State Street, the business expanded its inventory and services, rebranding to Bellingham Music. The school division evolved into the Bellingham Academy of Music, offering diverse lesson programs. In 2009, the company moved to its current location at State & Champion Streets, solidifying its role as a community asset in Whatcom County. Under new ownership since 2016, the business continues to prioritize acoustic string instruments while broadening its selection to include winds, orchestral instruments, and unique offerings.

With over four decades of service, Bellingham Music combines deep industry experience with a commitment to accessible, high-quality music education.
