Learn, create, perform, succeed.
Welcome to Northern Westchester Music School, where we believe that music is the key to unlocking the full potential of every individual. Founded in 1959 by Carmen Carrozza, a world-renowned accordion player, our school has been dedicated to providing the highest quality music education for over six decades. In 2005, the ownership of the school was transferred to Jacek Zganiacz, a classical pianist from Poland and a Juilliard graduate, who continues to uphold the school's mission to "Learn, create, perform, succeed."
Located at the French Hill School building in Yorktown Heights, our studios are equipped with quality instruments and a comprehensive library of music books. We offer private lessons covering a variety of instruments to individuals of all ages, aptitudes, and interests. Our teachers are qualified, dedicated, and passionate about music, providing personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs and goals.
Whether you're preparing for the NYSMA exam, participating in recitals and auditions, or simply looking to deepen your knowledge and master an instrument, our goal remains the same: to instill in our students a deep enjoyment and appreciation of music. We understand that music has the power to transform characters, and we strive to convince and inspire others with this simple truth.
At Northern Westchester Music School, we believe that music increases intellectual faculties, physical coordination, teaches patience, confidence, and discipline, all essential ingredients of success in whatever you do. We are committed to serving all individuals with quality music instruction and fostering music interests in a supportive and caring environment. Join us on this musical journey and discover the transformative power of music for yourself.
