Our Story

Our journey began through a chance conversation at a party, where we stumbled upon the idea of commissioning a full concert's worth of music for flute and organ. This sparked the creation of the Fantasmagoria project, which aimed to break the mold of the perceived limitations of the flute and organ combination. By commissioning five new pieces from innovative composers, we sought to showcase the strengths of both instruments and create a new and unique repertoire.

The result was Fantasmagoria, a collection of concert pieces that celebrates the harmonious union of flute and organ. Each piece, crafted by expert composers, brings out the best qualities of both instruments, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

Our Collaborations

As a duo, we are passionate about collaboration and exploring new ways to bring music to new audiences. We have had the privilege of performing with the Lyra Ensemble, a professional ensemble dedicated to bringing high-quality chamber music to audiences of all kinds. We are also committed to giving back to the community through programs like Play On Philly, an El Sistema-inspired program that brings music education to under-resourced communities.

Our Discography

In 2020, we released our debut CD, Fantasmagoria, which features the world premiere of the commissioned concert pieces. This album showcases the beauty and versatility of the flute and organ combination, and has been praised by critics and audiences alike.
