From its humble beginnings as a small storefront focused on guitar repairs, Mike's Music and Sound has expanded its offerings over the years. With the addition of a full line of band and orchestra instruments, pro audio equipment, and rental services, the store became a one-stop shop for all musical needs. In 2002, Mike Soffa passed the torch to Jim and Dan Gilgenbach, who nurtured the store's community atmosphere. In 2020, longtime employees Andrew Johnson and Jeremy Helbling took the helm, continuing the Gilgenbachs' innovation and vision.
